Lena Pettersson 10 hour - Lena Pettersson 10 hour refund - Kenya Airways was extremely apologetic to Radio Sweden journalist Lena Pettersson after she spent a ten hour flight to Tanzania next to a dead man. After boarding a flight at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport, she noticed the directly across the aisle form her “sweating and having seizures.” The cabin crew attempted to revive the man, but he died mere hours into the flight.
Pettersson and her friend were left with nowhere else to sit. Overwhelmed, the crew decided covering the man with a blanket and spreading him out across three seats was the best option.
Pettersson filed a complaint with the airline, and after months of emails, was finally reimbursed with $713-about half the price of her ticket-and an apology. Though she said she was satisfied, that’s not an experience you can just forget.

Springfield, Oregon Most Strip Clubs
Springfield, Oregon Most Strip Clubs, A news magazine distributed to millions of people across the United States claims Portland, Ore., has the nation’s best bike culture – and Springfield, Ore., has the most strip clubs per capita in America.
In Sunday’s cover story “America by the Numbers,” PARADE magazine says Springfield leads the nation with 9.3 strip clubs per 100,000 residents. The article, presented in infographic form, cites a 2009 blog post from the Portland, Ore., alternative news weekly The Mercury as the source of the information.
Springfield city officials told KVAL News they are only aware of 5 strip clubs in town as of 2011 – and even then, Census estimates for 2009 put Springfield’s population at that time at around 55,000 people. That would make any expression of anything per 100,000 people in Springfield a projection.
PARADE, founded in 1941, is a national newsmagazine inserted in hundreds of Sunday newspapers across the country with claimed circulation of 32.2 million and readership of 74 million, according to its website. The PARADE website also claims distribution via the Seattle Post Intelligencer, a newspaper that ceased publication in 2009.
Obama Romney Alien Invasion
Obama Romney Alien Invasion - In the event that Bill Pullman isn't available, two-thirds of respondents to a new survey say that President Barack Obama would be better suited to handle an alien invasion than presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.
"We wanted the pulse on people's opinions," said Brad Dancer, senior vice president of research and digital media for National Geographic, who conducted the survey for the new series "Chasing UFOs." "We wanted to get a sense of how Americans view UFOs, what people believe and how mainstream pop culture may or may not be playing into their opinions on it."
Nearly 65 percent of respondents said Obama would be better suited to handle a theoretical alien invasion than Romney.
In fact, Obama trumped Romney across the board, winning a majority of support from women (68 percent), men (61 percent) and those aged 18 to 64 (68 percent).
Romney's strongest bracket was with senior citizens, where he split the vote with Obama at 50 percent each.
During a May visit to the White House by the actor Will Smith and his family, Obama was quizzed by Smith's 13-year-old son, Jaden, about the possibility of extraterrestrial life. In an interview with the BBC, Smith recounted Obama's reaction to his son:
"OK, I can neither confirm or deny the existence of extraterrestrials," Obama reportedly said from the White House Situation Room. "But I can tell you if there had been a top secret meeting, and if there would have been a discussion about it, it would have taken place in this room."

Alien Attack Americans Pick Obama Over Romney
Alien Attack Americans Pick Obama Over Romney - President Obama may be trailing Mitt Romney in the polls on who’d do a better job fixing the economy. But if the Earth ever is attacked by hostile beings from another planet, a strong majority of voters believe Mr. Obama would be superior in dealing with the situation.
In what may be our favorite polling question of the campaign so far, a survey by the National Geographic Channel, first reported by USA Today, finds that 65 percent of Americans say Obama would be better suited than Mr. Romney to handle an alien invasion. Obama Romney alien invasion,
And lest you are tempted to dismiss this poll as pure silliness, the study also found that 36 percent of Americans think UFOs exist, while another 48 percent aren’t sure. Which means that at least some of the respondents judging the presidential candidates’ alien-fighting abilities may see it as a plausible scenario. (According to the poll, 79 percent also say the federal government has been hiding information about UFOs from the public – which may actually say more about the public’s overall distrust of government than its views on aliens.) obama beats romney sugar daddy poll,
Even for those who don’t really think aliens might attack Earth, we say it’s an interesting poll question – essentially prodding which candidate voters would prefer at the helm in the case of a sudden, terrifying crisis that threatens the world’s very existence. "chasing ufos" national geographic channel,
Or, to put it another way, it’s kind of like asking voters which candidate has more Will Smith in him? Who’d be more likely to bring down an enemy spacecraft, charge over to the wreckage, and punch the alien in the face?
For most Americans, the answer seems to be Obama.
Of course, part of Obama’s edge here may come from incumbency. He’s already the president, so voters are automatically more inclined to see him as a wartime leader. Obama’s foreign policy ratings in general have been a source of strength for him. This is the guy who took down Osama bin Laden, after all -so why not aliens?
On the other hand, it’s worth pointing out that in the most recent Gallup poll, Obama and Romney were essentially tied on the measurement of who is a “strong and decisive leader,” with 53 percent of respondents saying Obama was, and 55 percent saying Romney was.
Still, it seems being a strong leader isn’t exactly the same thing as defending the nation against aliens.
Delving further into the alien-fighting scenario, the National Geographic survey also probed the key question of sidekicks. Who would Americans want at their side in an alien attack? According to the poll, 8 percent chose Spiderman, 12 percent said Batman, and a full 21 percent chose the Hulk.
Hmmm. Maybe Romney should pick New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie as his running mate, after all.

Houston Pole Tax
Houston Pole Tax - The city of Houston has turned to a somewhat unorthodox source of revenue to finance the analysis of rape kits taken from victims, of which the Houston Police Department has a backlog of about 6,000, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Houston strip clubs to be Taxed
According to the Wall Street Journal, strip clubs in Houston will be assessed a $5 per visitor fee, called in the vernacular a "pole tax" to finance the testing of rape kits. This is on top of a $5 per visitor fee assessed by the state of Texas, part of which also goes to financing the testing of rape kits. Houston pole tax, houston pole tax rape kits, springfield, oregon most strip clubs,
The rape kit backlog
The backlog of rape kits has been an ongoing problem at the Houston Police crime lab, which the Houston Chronicle reports has been plagued with problems and scandal for years. The law firm of Tad Nelson and Associates suggests that the backlog has caused problems not only for rape victims, but defendants for whom the DNA evidence may be exculpatory. A rape kit generally contains swabs, hair samples, nail cuttings, blood, and clothing taken during a hospital rape examination. Reasons given for not testing a rape kit include instances when a suspect has not been identified, the prosecutor has not requested a test, the victim has chosen not to prosecute, or police investigators are uncertain whether it contains useful information.
Why strip clubs are being singled out for a tax
The Wall Street Journal quotes supporters of the new pole tax, including Houston Mayor Annise Parker, that strip clubs tend to foster unhealthy attitudes toward women which in return can lead to sexual assaults. Hence, strip clubs should shoulder the burden of testing the backlog of rape kits.
Experts disagree on the connection of sexual oriented businesses and sexual assault
The Wall Street Journal goes on to quote a variety of experts who dispute the notion that strip club and other sexual-oriented businesses foster sexual violence. The University of Texas at Austin published a report in 2009 that found no study suggesting a connection between alcohol, sexual oriented businesses, and violence.
How strip clubs have reacted to the pole tax
Owners of Houston strip clubs, of which 30 would be subject to the new tax, according to the Wall Street Journal, are not happy about the tax or the implication that their clients, mostly male, are potential rapists. One member of the Houston City Council, Jack Christie, who supported the new tax is unimpressed, noting the number of large denomination bills that get spent on tips for exotic dancers.

Michael Jackson tiger
Michael-Jackson-tiger - Thriller, a tiger that belonged to Michael Jackson when the entertainer lived at his Neverland ranch, has died of lung cancer at actress-activist Tippi Hedren’s wildlife preserve in California. The 13-year-old, 375-pound tiger died June 11, Hedren said Wednesday. An autopsy was performed and the tiger was cremated. Staff workers will hold a private service when the ashes are buried in a section of the preserve set aside for animals that die there.
Thriller and her brother Sabu were born on Nov. 20, 1998, michael jackson tiger cancer, and lived with Jackson until May 4, 2006, Hedren said. michael jackson tiger cancer,
When Jackson left Neverland for good, his veterinarian asked Hedren to take the cats at her Shambala Preserve in Acton, about 50 miles north of Los Angeles. Center For Great Apes Bubbles,
Other Neverland animals, including giraffes, flamingos, orangutans, elephants and dozens of reptiles, were sent to other sanctuaries in other parts of the country. Michael Jackson tiger,
Shambala didn’t have a lot of room, but Hedren built a $79,000 habitat next to the preserve’s lake and there were trees and a hill and Thriller had a great life with Sabu, she said.
“Thriller was a real piece of work, one gutsy girl. She ruled Sabu’s life. It was humorous to watch the whole relationship. She did things to him that male tigers would normally never allow. She would steal food from him. That’s unheard of. She ruled the roost, was very independent and tough,” Hedren said.
Unlike many of the animals at the preserve, Thriller and Sabu arrived at the compound in excellent health physically and emotionally, Hedren said.
There are 15 tigers at the compound, but Sabu is now alone in the habitat he shared with Thriller and he’ll probably stay that way, Hedren said.
Tigers are loners in the wild, she explained.
Because Thriller was a famous tiger, she was very popular with visitors and media, Hedren said. “She didn’t care. She was not a diva and didn’t mug for the camera. We all loved her for it.”
Staff was trying to cope with Thriller’s death, Hedren said. “It’s very hard for all of us when these animals go away. Fortunately for Sabu and Thriller, they came in healthy and content. They had no problem with being in quarantine for 30 days. They adjusted so well.”
Most of the animals at Shambala, which requires $75,000 in donations every month to stay open, have trouble adjusting because they have such abusive pasts, Hedren said.
Jackson, who died in 2009, often talked about his love of animals, but he never called to check on the tigers and he never sent any money to help pay for their care, Hedren said.
A year after the tigers arrived, Hedren said staff sent a package of photos of Sabu and Thriller and T-shirts and other memorabilia to Jackson’s children, “but we never heard a word back. I just think it’s odd.”
A call to a spokesman for Jackson’s estate was not immediately returned. The estate did not exist when the animals were transferred.

Nun Response To Boyfriend Our Sister Has Chosen The Path She Want
Nun Response To Boyfriend Our Sister Has Chosen The Path She Want, A broken hearted Italian man has mounted a vigil outside a convent at Montecassino Abbey after his ex-girlfriend joined the Franciscan nuns.
The UK Telegraph reports that Daniel Briatore, 21, has erected a banner on the Franciscan convent walls at Italy’s Montecassino Abbey, south of Rome, in the hope his childhood sweetheart, Patrizia Masoero, will return to him.
“I didn’t want to take you away, just talk to you, because I love you,” it read.
The lifeguard travelled almost 400km from Alassio to set up camp outside the convent after Ms Masoero, 21, dumped him a month ago.
Mr Briatore, who had been in a relationship with Ms Masoero since they were teenagers, said he would do “whatever it takes”, according to locals and reporters who have joined him in his mission.
But a nun from the convent was not so supportive.
“Our sister has chosen the path she wants, there is no point in him staying here,” she was quoted as saying.
The nuns took Briatore’s banner down but he said he will do “whatever it takes” to get her back, boosted by local villagers who are all said to be backing him.

‘We’re Healers’: Prussian Blue Twins
‘We’re Healers’: Prussian Blue Twins, Olsen twin lookalikes Lamb and Lynx Gaeda founded the band Prussian Blue in 2003, when they were 11. Coached by their mother, who homeschooled the two because public schools “misrepresented history,” the blond twins from California started dressing in smiley-face Hitler tees and singing pretty acoustic songs about white nationalism and the dangers of race mixing.
The band was named not just after the girls’ eye color. “Prussian blue” is Zyklon-B residue, supposedly not found on the walls of concentration-camp gas chambers. Holocaust deniers point to this as evidence that no Jews were gassed. Lamb Lynx Gaede marijuana,
In an interview, Lamb Gaeda called Adolf Hitler a “great man who was only trying to preserve his own race in his own country,” while her sister argued that the Holocaust never happened. “I mean, there were not even that many Jews alive then. We know there were concentration camps, but they had swimming pools and tennis courts there. That’s not how you would treat people if you were getting ready to kill them.”
Now, as their 20th birthday approaches, no longer in the clutches of their white-supremacist family, the twins are speaking out again — this time about the wonders of medical marijuana and diversity.
The two have faced significant health problems in the past seven years. Lamb had scoliosis; Lynx had a tumor removed from her shoulder. They were both prescribed medical marijuana, which they say saved their lives. Lynx, now living in Montana and working as a painter and furniture restorer, says she and her sister, a hotel maid, were “home-schooled country bumpkins” who “spent most of our days up on the hill playing with our goats. “I’d probably be dead if I didn’t have [marijuana]. It also rekindled the creative impulses I once channeled into my music.”
Lamb insists, “We just want to come from a place of light and love. I think we’re meant to do something more. We’re healers. We just wanna exert the most love and positivity we can.”
“Personally, I love diversity!” Lamb said in a recent TV interview. “I’m stoked that we have so many different cultures. I think it’s amazing, and it makes me proud of humanity every day that we have so many different places and people.
“I’m glad we were in a band, but I think we should have been pushed toward something a little more mainstream and easier for us to handle than being front men for a belief system that we didn’t even completely understand at that time. We were little kids.”

Terry Claver Find Lost Ring In Discarded Toilet
Terry Claver Find Lost Ring In Discarded Toilet – There are some blessed couples who stand by one another for the duration of their lives. Despite remaining together for many years, they just don’t tire of making each other smile. The experience of Terry and Donna Claver is one that may appear to be a fairytale.
In accordance with a GreatFallsTribune.com report, Terry and Donna Claver have been committed to each other for almost forty years. The Clavers are a well-respected couple in the local community and have three children and quite a few grandkids. Their marriage has been able to endure all odds since they took their vows in 1973. The single thing missing was the engagement ring that the pair accidentally lost 36 years ago.
Donna and Terry’s first meeting
Donna and Terry were a very unlikely pair. While Donna was a hippie who moved to Stanford to escape her life in Fargo, Terry was a fresh high school graduate who planned to go to Bible College. At once striking up a connection, Donna and Terry decided to marry after only 3 dates. Terry was freshly employed in the U.S. Forest Service while Donna was still without a job.
Strengthening the Bond
While in search of engagement rings, they realized that diamonds were too expensive and instead selected a gorgeous pink synthetic sapphire. The engagement ring was not just budget friendly but additionally reminded them of one of their dates while they spent the night observing shooting stars. The Clavers before long wedded and settled into their first home, a one bedroom dwelling. After one year, they were expecting their very first baby. One fateful day, when Donna stepped into the restroom to apply lotion, she didn’t know that she would never see her engagement ring again.
How the Ring was Lost
Accidentally dropping it in the commode, Donna and Terry tried hard to retrieve it but without results. The ring was wedged solid in the toilet and just wouldn’t budge regardless of how hard Terry tried. Despite losing the ring, the Clavers continued a completely happy life. As time passed, the Clavers sold their home to purchase a larger house for their expanding family. The old house was resold to numerous folks over the years and had never been broken down. It was in 2006 that a group of Florida hunters purchased the home to use it every fall for a couple of weeks as a hunting cabin. By this time, Terry and Donna had abandoned the notion of ever rescuing the ring.
Terry’s Lucky Day
Terry and his son were recently on the job while replacing the roof of a house across from their old property. It was then that Terry saw the hunters dumping their old toilet. Terry instantly saw dreams of retrieving the lost sapphire engagement ring and promptly jumped to assist them. After convincing the hunters that he would discard the toilet for them, Terry used his sledgehammer to break down the commode. Sure enough, the ring was still intact in the toilet. Even while Terry knew that the gold would not deteriorate, he did not expect the stone to keep its pristine color. When Donna saw the ring, she was totally thrilled. This account is now the holiday season’s supper conversation at the Clavers’ home.

Even while Terry knew that the gold would not deteriorate, he did not expect the stone to keep its pristine color. When Donna saw the ring, she was totally thrilled. This account is now the holiday season’s supper conversation at the Clavers’ home.
Donna Voutsinas + Alex in Background of Disney World Photo
Donna Voutsinas + alex in background of Disney World photo, When Alex and Donna Voutsinas were photographed together at Disney World, they didn’t know each other. In fact, they didn’t even live in the same country. But fifteen years later, they met and married:
That fateful realization came just one week before their wedding eight years ago. Alex and Donna had been going through old family snapshots. There, in the blurry background of a picture of 5-year-old Donna was 3-year-old Alex being pushed down Main Street at the same moment in 1980 by his father. The senior Voutsinas’s distinctive jet-black hair with its white tuft caught his eye.
“My mother pulled out albums from the same trip. My dad is wearing exactly the same outfit.”
Other pictures from that trip showed Alex on his dad’s shoulders. The boy in the background of Donna’s picture and the boy in those pictures were the same.

Adele Gay Boyfriend Best Friend
Adele Gay Boyfriend Best Friend - A new unauthorized biography about Grammy-award winning musician Adele fills in some details for what was already common knowledge among fans: Adele’s great heartbreak, the inspiration for many of he songs on her successful 2008 debut album “19,” was being left by her bisexual boyfriend for a gay lover.
Author Marc Shapiro focuses especially on this incident. “One thing we know is that it was a first log gone terribly bad,” he said. “Adele had professed her love and he did the same, she had known he was bisexual but, in the rush of romance, felt they could make it work. Four hours after laying their emotional cards on the table, the boy ran off with one of Adele’s gay friends!”
Maybe not terribly wrong: it could have been a lot worse. And it isn’t exactly news. Adele had written the songs “Hometown Glory, and “Daydreamer” about a bisexual boy she was smitten with, though naturally enough she keep the private details of her private life … private. What she said was this:
“‘Daydreamer’ is about this boy I was in love with, like proper in love with, he was bi and I couldn’t deal with that. All the things I wanted from my boyfriend, he was never going to be, I get really jealous anyway, so I couldn’t fight with girls and boys.”
The bio speaks of him cheating on her for four months. Apparently things are much better with current boyfriend Simon Konecki.

Kate Moss & Daughter Lila Grace Pose Together In Vogue, Kate Moss is sharing some exclusive shots from her wedding in the September issue of Vogue magazine. But what seems to be interesting, is the rather intimate n*de photo of Moss and her daughter Lila Grace posing together.

Kate Moss is on the highly coveted September issue of Vogue if for no other reason than she was married in July to Jamie Hince. The supermodel has also given the magazine an exclusive look into her 1920s-inspired wedding with an extensive pictorial.
Despite the many details about the planning of the wedding and the John Galliano dresses, what stands out the most is this beautiful portrait of Kate and her eight-year-old, Lila Grace. There has already been much attention drawn to the fact that little Lila’s hand has been needlessly Photoshopped around her fingers, but the image is still beautiful. Mario Testino snapped the image as well as all of the images of the wedding which will be included in the issue. It’s set to hit newstands on August 23rd.

Lila Moss Model
Lila Moss Model - Lila Moss, SHE’S the daughter of one of the world's most famous models and continually surrounded by the industry's coolest faces, so it was inevitable that Lila Moss would want to follow in the footsteps of her fashion icon mum.
Speaking to Amuse magazine, Lila's god-sister, Kate Moss & Daughter Lila Grace Pose Nude Together In Vogue, Iris Law - the daughter of Sadie Frost and Jude Law - has revealed that the pair already harbour dreams of one day working in the industry. lila moss wears too much makeup,
"My god-sister, Lila, and I have got into the habit of creating little photo shoots every time we see each other. Mini Moss, who is nine, had her first taste of modelling last year when she posed for US Vogue to celebrate her mum's wedding to Jamie Hince, and she certainly seemed to be a natural (despite a little airbrushing accident - which saw several fingers 'chopped off'). lila moss wears too much makeup,
But if Lila - whose father is Dazed & Confused creator Jefferson Hack - does step into her mother's shoes, she may not be quite so risqué. Last year, Kate called Lila "prudish" in an interview with the Sunday Times Style .
"She's got lipsticks but she doesn't do colour. She's quite prudish - she'll only do a little bit of gloss or something - but she is into nail art."
She may also face some rivalry from another young Moss. Kate's 13-year-old half-sister, Lottie, is also set to join the fashion world after catching the attention of Storm Models - the agency that discovered Kate - when she was one of her elder sister's 15 bridesmaids.

Elizabeth Lloyd Hit In The Face With A Baseball
Elizabeth Lloyd Hit In The Face With A Baseball, A 45-year-old New Jersey woman is suing a 13-year-old Little League player for an errant throw that struck her in the face. Elizabeth Lloyd is seeking more than $150,000 in damages to cover medical costs stemming from the incident at a Manchester Little League game two years ago, The Associated Press reported.
Catcher Matthew Migliaccio, who was 11 at the time, told the Asbury Park Press he overthrew the pitcher and the ball struck Lloyd in the face. Elizabeth-Lloyd-lawsuit, Elizabeth Lloyd $150,000,
“I ran over to see if she was all right,” Matthew, now 13, told the newspaper. “She said she was OK. I was just on with warming the pitcher up, and I was not horsing around.” Elizabeth Lloyd hit in the face with a baseball,
But the lawsuit alleges Migliaccio’s errant throw was intentional and reckless. The baseball “assaulted and battered” Lloyd and caused “severe, painful and permanent” injuries, according to the lawsuit.
A Little League spokesman said the league’s insurance covers coaches and players but not spectators, according to ESPN. Elizabeth Lloyd $150,000,
Matthew’s father, Bob Migliaccio, told the AP that his son has received threatening and nasty letters.
“The whole thing has almost been surreal,” Bob Migliaccio said. “It’s absurd to expect every 11-year-old to throw the ball on target.”

Valerie Bruno Files Complaints
Valerie Bruno Files Complaints, A mom is filing a complaint after cutting off her daughter’s ponytail in a Utah courtroom in exchange for a lighter sentence for the 13-year-old. Valerie Bruno’s daughter, Kaytlen Lopan, was charged with assault in March after she and a friend chopped off several inches of hair from the head of a 3-year-old girl they didn’t know at a McDonald’s restaurant.
At the May 28 hearing, District Juvenile Judge Scott Johansen initially ordered Lopan to pay damages to the victim, spend 30 days in detention and serve 276 hours of community service as punishment. CBS: Mother Cuts Off Daughter’s Ponytail in Court,
But then Johansen said he would offer Bruno another “option” if she didn’t want her daughter volunteering with the “(youth) work crew.”
“I will cut [the community service] by 150 hours if you want to cut her hair right now,” the judge told Bruno. “I’ll go get a pair of scissors and we’ll whack that ponytail off.”
At the time, the mother agreed and cut the girl’s hair up to her ponytail holder, a length that the judge and the 3-year-old victim’s mother agreed upon.
But now, Bruno says the reason behind her formal complaint against the judge is that “an eye for an eye” isn’t how children should be taught “right from wrong.”
“She definitely needed to be punished for what had happened,” Bruno told the Deseret News. “But I never dreamt it would be that much of a punishment.”
The victim’s mother, Mindy Moss, says she’s happy with the hearing’s outcome. “Why shouldn’t she get her hair cut? The other little girl had to get her hair cut. It fits the crime,” Moss said, referring to the 11-year-old girl who helped Lopan cut of the 3-year-old’s hair.

CBS: Mother Cuts Off Daughter’s Ponytail in Court
CBS: Mother Cuts Off Daughter’s Ponytail In Court, Sleep in a doghouse rather than jail, walk through town with a humiliating sign or cut off a child’s ponytail as eye-for-eye punishment. Such unconventional sentences that shame defendants are steadily increasing and turning state courts into circus shows, a legal scholar said Monday.
“This is part of a disturbing trend that has developed in the last 20 years,” said Jonathan Turley, a professor at George Washington University. “These are punishments that often appeal to the public and bring a type of instant gratification for the court.” Judge-ponytail, Valerie Bruno files complaints,
Turley said the most recent example occurred in Utah when a 13-year-old girl went to court for cutting a 3-year-old girl’s hair into a bob with dollar-store scissors. Valerie Bruno files complaints,
The teen and her 11-year-old friend were referred to court for the March incident involving the toddler and for harassing another girl in Colorado by telephone. CBS: Mother Cuts Off Daughter’s Ponytail in Court,
The judge agreed to cut back community service time if the mother of the teen chopped off her daughter’s ponytail in court.
The mother has since filed a formal complaint, saying the judge at the May hearing intimidated her into the eye-for-an-eye penalty.
“I fail to see how the court reducing itself to the level of a 13-year-old teaches a moral let alone legal lesson,” Turley said. “The court was doing precisely what the 13-year-old did to a child.”

Ann Curry $10 Million
Ann Curry $10 Million - Ann Curry will supposedly make a fortune, Ann Curry $10 Million, when she leaves the Today Show. According to TMZ she is being fired due to poor ratings and the fact she doesn’t get along with co-host Matt Lauer — and that she’ll get a $10 million payout from NBC.
She signed a three-year deal with NBC when she started in June 2011 – valued at around $20 million – and the rumored payout deal will pay her $10 million for her to leave the show. Adding fuel to the fire, Ann Curry‘s children were noticeably absent from Justin Bieber‘s June 15 Today show performance, although Matt Lauer and Al Roker‘s kids were front and center, rocking out to the Biebs.
How is she managing to work every day with all these rumors about her getting fired flying around? I give her a lot of credit for remaining professional while under pressure.

Grandfather Leg Tattoo All Kids Removed From The Home
Grandfather Leg Tattoo All Kids Removed From The Home, Jerry Garrison, a grandfather in Jacksonville, Florida, says it is a tradition in his family to get your initials tattooed on your body. So when his 10-year-old grandson asked for the same, Garrison agreed.
The Florida Department of Children and Families went to the home to investigate a different complaint when they spotted the tattoo. All of Garrison’s grandchildren have been removed from his home and placed in foster care. The nature of the other allegations have not been released.
In Florida, a law was passed in 2012 saying that children can get tattoos with parental consent when they turn 16. It against the law for children under 16 to be tattooed unless it is for medical or dental reasons. Before 2012, any child under 18 could be tattooed as long as they had a parent’s consent.
Garrison, however, does not feel that what he did was wrong. ”I didn’t see why a tattoo was such a big issue to begin with, and I didn’t see where none of this was right,’ he told First Choice News. The tattoo was done on the boy’s lower leg.

Cordell Broadus And Ucla
Cordell Broadus And Ucla, When UCLA offered Cordell Broadus a scholarship, the Bruins were doing more than trying to attract a promising sophomore wide receiver and defensive back for Diamond Bar (Calif.) High. In essence, the program was staking a claim to territory in the L.A. pop culture spotlight, for one very clear reason: Cordell Broadus is Snoop Dogg’s son.
As reported by the ESPNLA and the National Football Post, UCLA coach Jim Mora Jr. recently offered a scholarship to Broadus, despite the fact that the rising sophomore has spent just one year in high school, and played on the Diamond Bar freshman squad during that campaign. At 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds, the younger Broadus — Snoop Dogg’s legal name is Calvin Broadus — has a body which could develop into that of a legitimate Division I prospect, but no one knows whether he’ll continue to grow.
Of course, Broadus isn’t the first son of a rapper to land with the Bruins. Justin Combs, the son of Sean “P-Diddy” Combs, signed to play at UCLA beginning in fall 2012 after an impressive prep career at Iona Prep in suburban New York City. Combs is expected to play at defensive back for the Bruins, so it’s even possible that the Bruins could use both the son of P-Diddy and Snoop Dogg in the same defensive backfield come fall 2015.
Regardless of the younger Broadus’ potential, it’s hard not to feel that Mora Jr. may be offering him a scholarship at least in large part for PR benefits. Snoop Dogg officially claims to be a USC fan, so snapping up a commitment from his son could give the school requisite street cred and offer a certain buzz to a program which sorely needs just such a jolt of excitement.
