American Idol premiere

American Idol premiere - American Idol Season 11 will premiere this week on January 18, 2012. American Idol begins with the first part of a two-night season premiere that will air from 8 - 10pm on Wednesday with part 2 following on Thursday from 8-9pm. There will be an additional episode on Sunday following the NFC championship game. If you live in Jacksonville, Florida the closest city to audition in this year was Savannah, Georgia and that is the location that will be showcased on 1/18/2012.


Word is that American Idol did discover a few talented singers in South Georgia. As soon as the finalist spoilers are leaked they will be posted here on the Examiner so check back often for the latest 2012 American Idol news.

Host Ryan Seacrest is from Georgia and he talks about being back home,
