Janet Jackson named 'Grinch' - Janet Jackson vilified by PETA as a 'Grinch'

Janet Jackson has been named PETA's "Grinch of 2011" Janet Jackson named Grinch, in light of her partnership with a fur fashion company called Blackglama.


People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals called out the "animal-unfriendly" Jackson on their website. Janet Jackson named Grinch,

"When Janet Jackson had her infamous "wardrobe malfunction" during the Super Bowl," PETA wrote, "at least the flesh that popped into view was her own—unlike the stolen animal skins that she drapes herself with, which are as dead as her taste in fashion (not to mention her career). Ms. Jackson, you're just plain nasty."

Jackson became a spokeswoman for Blackglama in 2010 as part of their "What Makes A Legend Most?" ad campaign, a role that was once filled by Elizabeth Taylor and Diana Ross. Janet Jackson named Grinch,

PETA also added film director Cameron Crowe and reality television-star Kim Kardashian to their list of this year's celebrity grinches for their alleged exploitation of animals.
