Jamarcus Russell Comeback Failed

Jamarcus Russell Comeback Failed - JaMarcus Russell Selling House After Failed Comeback Attempts. JaMarcus Russell Is Reportedly Selling His Oakland Mansion.

The man I lovingly refer to as “plumpy” is selling his quaint abode. JaMarcus Russell ate himself out of the NFL, and now he has to sell his Oakland mansion. Jamarcus Russell Comeback Failed,
The charmed life was handed to Russell on a silver-and-black platter. Al Davis took him with the first overall pick int he 2007 draft, proving once again that Davis has lost his mind.
Russell rewarded his owner by getting fat, like, lineman fat. The best part about his game was that he was big, strong and mobile. After a while, Russell was just big.
In 2009, the Raiders cut ties with him completely. Still wealthy, Russell went on an extended vacation. He took time to get arrested for felony possession of codeine. What’s retired life without a little purple drink after all?
The most recent sign that the man just doesn’t get it came in April. That is when his life coach severed all ties with him. You have to be pretty lazy and apathetic for a life coach to give up on you.
Now comes a report citing Russell’s desire to sell his Oakland mansion. It is yet another proving point that nothing is certain in sports.
You could be the most highly touted phenom and become fodder for the masses in the matter of a few years.
Russell had everything. His mansion is the type of home a young man would have had a blast living in. Imagine playing in front of the black hole and coming home to this.
Russell was content to take the big money and run. It was never about the game with him, just the money. The only upside is that young athletes now have a cautionary tale.
You could have all the talent in the world, but if you don’t work to get better, you could turn into JaMarcus Russell. That should scare some rookies straight.
