Dead in Columbia Dorm

Dead in Columbia Dorm - Dead in Columbia dorm: Woman found dead in dorm on university's campus, Dead in Columbia dorm: Woman found dead in dorm on university's campus, Police are currently investigating a death in a Columbia University dormitory in upper Manhattan according to the Associated Press late on Sunday, March 31, 2013. The investigation is ongoing at this time, but it is being looked at as a possible overdose.


 Police state that 21-year-old Jessica Fingers of Monticello, was found unconscious and unresponsive on the floor of her dorm. She was lying face up on the floor of her dorm that is on Morningside Drive....reported...examiner.

 Fingers' body was found just after 11:30 a.m. on Easter Sunday morning. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The dean of students for Columbia University told the Daily News that the woman had recently taken a leave of absence from school.

 It began after the spring semester of 2012. She was back on campus to visit a friend at the dorm. The medical examiner is still to determine the exact cause of death of Fingers. Police have stated that they suspect no foul play in the death of Fingers.

The main thing being looked at is that it could be a possible overdose death.
